Who is click quality team?

They are composed of many numbers of people the one who investigate suspicious traffic to determine if invalid click activity has occurred. They make thorough investigations, analyze and detect a number of factors, including IP address, duplicate clicks, and various other clicking patterns.


The Click Quality team consists of the following two subgroups:

  • Engineering- they are the one who designs and develops click detection software or what they call filters.
  • Spam Operations- Responsible primarily for the offline operations, inspections of invalid clicking activities including investigations of customer’s inquiries.
  • Other groups- Web spam, Ads quality, Publications quality provides information and participates in click quality team for some spam’s, click frauds, and other related issues.

Click quality team detects invalid click by time difference between two clicks, deviation of normal clicks to abnormal clicks like an ad is 4 clicks per week and if someone clicks on it 100 times per week, then this is an abnormally large clicking activity.
