This was the top 10 things you didn’t know about naruto and all the facts need to know about Naruto and everything all about Naruto is in this post. I bet you didn’t know these top 10 things about our favorite character Naruto. Well, Naruto is about Uzumaki Naruto, an orphan and an outcast, who may someday become one of the most dangerous and one of the most powerful ninjas in history. Like a true master of stealth, the creator of Naruto, Masashi Kashimoto, injected some interesting facts about Japanese pop culture and folklore into the series. If you’re a true Naruto fan, you need to read on.
Here are 10 more reasons to go nuts over Naruto.
1. The creator of Naruto once made a short manga entitled Karakuri. In Naruto, the main character Uzumaki Naruto is a boy with a fox demon inside him. In Karakuri, there is a character named Naruto, who is actually a fox demon.
2. For demons-or kitsune-are known as the tricksters of the supernatural world. Like regular foxes, fox demons are known to be crafty and dangerous—when backed into a corner they may even defeat enemies much larger and fiercer than themselves. Watch out.
3. Fox Demons can also change into different shapes to make all sorts of mischief. Remember Naruto’s “sexy no jutsu”, where he changes into a pretty girl? Fox demons are actually known to change into beautiful women in order to seduce and trick gullible men.
4. Ino, Shikimaru, and Chouji are three ninjas who decide to become teammates, like their fathers. Together, they practice and perfect the InoShikaCho formation. The “InoShikaCho formation” is a technique from a Japanese card game called Hanafuda.
5. The three Sannin—Jiraiya, Tsunade, and Orochimaru were named after characters in the folk tale The Legend of the Gallant Jiraiya. It’s about a young ninja named Jiraiya who uses his shapesshifting powers to turn into a toad. In the story, Jiraiya falls in love with a young woman named Tsunade, who is a master of snail magic. Meanwhile, Orochimaru is the former disciple of Jiraiya who masters snake magic and later becomes his arch-enemy.
6. “Toad, slug, snake” is used in a Japanese version of the Western game “Rock, Paper, Scissors”. In this game the toad can beat the slug, the slug can beat the snake, and the snake can beat the toad. This game is now more popularly known as Janken.
7. Kabuto, Yoroi, and Tsuguru are young ninja trainees. They’re all in the same team during the Chuunin Exam. Their names mean “helmet”, “armor”, and “sword”, respectively—which are all traditional ninja gear.
8. The character kanuro is named after a popular Kabuki actor. “Kankuro” is also another word for “crow”. In Naruto, Kankuro’s most well-known puppet is named Crow. Another interesting thing is that Kankuro wears a traditional clothes of a Bunraku puppeteer, and uses puppets as his weapons: The Bunraku tradition uses puppets in theatrical presentations.
9. “Uzumaki” means spiral” or “whirpool”. Naruto is a place in Japan famous for its whirpools.
10. There is a ramen topping called “Naruto”. It’s actually a steamed fish-paste cake cut into slices, and it’s called Naruto because its spiral looks like a whirlpool. Is it a coincidence that Naruto’s favorite food is ramen?
